The American Cancer Society is extending an invitation to organizations in our community to become 2022 Relay For Life sponsorship partners. American Cancer Society Relay For Life events bring communities together, embracing their collective power to free the world from the pain and suffering of cancer. Becoming a Relay For Life sponsor provides an unparalleled opportunity to engage customers, employees, and communities in saving lives and celebrating life. Funds raised at these events help not only to honor survivors and remember loved ones but also to provide free services that cancer patients and caregivers rely on every single day. Thanks to the generous support of Relay For Life sponsors, the American Cancer Society is attacking cancer from every angle – by investing in groundbreaking research, developing communities of support, and providing free services like the live 24/7 helpline as well as transportation and lodging for cancer patients when treatment is far from home.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, ongoing support for cancer patients and caregivers is at risk and research funding for lifesaving treatments and cures has been devastatingly impacted. Nonetheless, our community will again come together and collectively work toward defeating cancer. The year 2022 marks the Santa Clarita Valley’s 24th year participating in the Relay For Life movement. Our community has donated over $8,000,000 to the American Cancer Society since its first event.
Corporate partnerships demonstrate an organization’s awareness of and commitment to the community and to the fight against cancer. Becoming a sponsor also offers many benefits for the organization. It provides a quality team-building opportunity and generates a positive corporate image. It also offers opportunities for brand recognition and promotional exposure. Top sponsor levels include corporate recognition on all event promotional materials and on social media channels in co-branded digital recognition posts. Other levels may provide sponsor recognition in ACS event news releases, the event program book, and on the Relay For Life of Santa Clarita Valley event website.
